FAQ

Transcend/AirMini FAQs:

1. Airmini offers a free mask in the purchase price. Does Transcend offer that?
A. The mask isn’t truly free, it’s just included in the purchase price of the Airmini. Airmini limits your choices to just four proprietary masks, and the four masks offered may not work for you. If you don’t require a second mask, then you aren’t paying for one with the Transcend 3 miniCPAP. But if you do want a mask just for travel (a good idea), Transcend 3 miniCPAP already works with your favorite mask so you don’t have to worry about getting used to using a new one.
2. Does the Airmini have a battery option for off-the-grid use?
A. ResMed does not provide a portable battery option for the Airmini.
3. Can the Transcend 3 miniCPAP be used overseas?
A. Yes. The Transcend 3 miniCPAP comes with a free international plug kit that allows it to be used around the world. The Airmini requires the additional purchase of plug adaptors or for use outside the US.
4. What is the warranty for the Transcend 3 miniCPAP?
A. The Airmini comes with a 2-year warranty. The Transcend 3 miniCPAP comes with a manufacturer’s warranty of 3 years, and an additional Transcend Protection Plan is available for just $99, which extends the warranty to 5 years, and offers 5 years of protection against accidental damage, except for loss or theft. Under the Protection Plan, your Transcend 3 would be repaired, if possible, or replaced if needed. No other CPAP offers such protection.
5. Is a carrying case included with the Transcend 3 miniCPAP?
A. The Transcend 3 miniCPAP includes a padded bag that protects the CPAP, AC power supply, hose and mask when traveling. The Airmini comes with a drawstring bag. A case to protect the CPAP and accessories while traveling is available for an extra $59.
6. What if I decide the Transcend 3 miniCPAP 3 is not for me?
A. Transcend offers a 30-day risk-free trial. If for any reason you decide not to keep the Transcend 3 miniCPAP you can call us to arrange returning it, no questions asked.
